Chuck White Joins Camden County EMA

Camden County is pleased to announce that Chuck White will be the new Emergency Management Specialist for the Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA).

In this role, he will assist the county on emergency preparedness initiatives and will be assigned to the Emergency Operations Center in Kingsland.

“We are pleased to welcome Chuck to our team,” said Camden County Administrator Steve Howard. “He brings a wealth of experience to Camden County and will be an asset to us for disaster preparedness and emergency management.”

White, who has lived in Camden County for more than a decade, served as the Director of Public Safety for the Jacksonville Port Authority over the last 13 years.  He has more than 25 years of experience in law enforcement, security, safety, and emergency management.

A retired U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms, White is also a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Academy, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York, Excelsior College.  He has also completed advanced training through the Emergency Management Institute’s National Incident Management System (NIMS).
