Camden County Emergency Management Agency Releases 2018 Hurricane Guide

Camden County’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has released its 2018 Hurricane Guide. The online guide, available on Camden County’s website at, has information to help local residents prepare for hurricane season.

Included in the guide is information about the 2018 Hurricane Forecast, preparing for hurricanes, CodeRED, and the Camden County Unified Hurricane Re-Entry Plan. Additionally, there is information about hurricane hazards and the Camden County Health Department’s Functional, Access, or Medical Needs Hurricane Registry.

“As a coastal community, that has experienced the effects of both Hurricane Matthew and Irma, it is imperative that Camden County Residents be prepared,” said EMA Director Chuck White. “The Hurricane Guide has valuable information to help Camden County residents learn more about what they can do to better prepare for this year’s hurricane season.”
