Camden County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking proposals to furnish all labor, equipment, materials and other appurtenances as specified to construct a new fire station on county-owned property at 377 New Post Road, White Oak, GA 31568. The site is adjacent to and will replace the existing Camden County Fire and Rescue Station-18. The new fire station is a one-story 4,050 square foot engineered metal structure consisting of three (3) apparatus bays, other operations-related space, three (3) bunk rooms, a day room and a public area to be utilized as a voting precinct. Approximately one (1) acre will be developed for the fire station and associated site features.
Sealed Proposals must be received at the office of the Purchasing Officer, P.O. Box 99-200 East 4th Street, Woodbine, GA 31569 no later than 2pm on Thursday, July 26, 2018. No bid shall be withdrawn after the closing time for a period of sixty (60) days.
A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will take place on-site at 377 New Post Road, White Oak, GA 31568 at 10am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
Digital Bid Documents and Construction Plans will be available for download on the Camden County website Purchasing Page www.camdencountyga.gov after 12pm on Monday, July 1, 2018.
