November 3rd General Election Recount

The Camden County Board of Elections & Registration (BoER) began a machine recount of the November 3rd General Election on Monday, November 30, 2020. During the recount, a livestream was available above.

The recount took place at the BoER offices located on the first floor of the Government Services Complex at 200 E. 4th Street in Woodbine. First, BoER staff conducted Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing on the main scanner. This ensured that the scanner is accurately counting each ballot cast.

Immediately following the L&A testing, BoER staff began the recount of all ballots cast in the November 3rd General Election. Two monitors from each political party were allowed to view the recount scanning process from the BoER offices.

The Vote Review Panel (VRP) met at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, to adjudicate any ballots with questionable marks and determine the intent of the voter. A representative from each party sat on the VRP along with a member of the BoER staff.
