Involving the public is an important part of the Camden/Kings Bay JLUS process. Including public input and securing public acceptance are critical success factors. Several public outreach events are held to encourage public participation.
How will local organizations be involved?
A Stakeholder Involvement Plan has been prepared to serve as a guide and to ensure that opportunities for involvement are maximized. The planned public outreach methods include a JLUS web page, press releases, committee and public meetings, presentations at local organizational meetings and area events, and more.
What is the JLUS process schedule?
The JLUS process is expected to be completed in 2013. The flexible process encourages broad input and allows development of a comprehensive study. The JLUS web page includes specific schedule updates.
