[ARCHIVED] Superior Court Update-March 30, 2020

All Civil hearings and trials, both jury and nonjury are cancelled through May 1, 2020.

This includes domestic matters and Civil Chambers. With regards to Emergency Civil matters, please notify the Clerk of Superior Court at (912) 576-5631 for scheduling information.  

The following Criminal Matters have been cancelled:

  • Criminal Calendar Call scheduled for April 20, 2020
  • Criminal Motions scheduled for April 24, 2020
  • Criminal Jury Trials scheduled for April 27, 2020             

With respect to Criminal Non-jury matters, those matters shall proceed as currently scheduled but shall be conducted via video conferencing.

With regards to arraignments, any scheduled arraignment for a defendant who is currently out on bond shall be continued; however, any future arraignment for a defendant who is incarcerated shall proceed as scheduled.
