The Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) has declared February 1-5, 2021, to be Severe Weather Preparedness Week and Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) urges all Camden County citizens to take time to learn about possible severe weather threats and how to prepare for them.
“Severe weather may impact our community at any time of the year making it important for everyone to take steps to ensure their safety and the safety of their families,” said EMA Director Chuck White. “We want to encourage all Camden County residents to plan and prepare for severe weather.”
Throughout the week, Camden County citizens will learn about severe weather threats and preparedness steps including:
- Family Preparedness,
- Thunderstorm Safety,
- Tornado Safety,
- Lightning Safety, and
- Flood Safety.
