The Government Finance Officers Association of (GFOA) recently awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Camden County for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2021.
At their February 7, 2023, regular meeting, the Camden County Board of Commissioners recognized staff from the Finance & Budget Department for their hard work in achieving this award.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
The annual comprehensive financial report, along with budgets and other reports, are available on the Camden County website at camdencountyga.gov/FinancialReports.
