The grant funding will provide safety improvements that include restriping and signage on 53.29 miles of county roads.
"We are very excited to receive this funding,” said Camden County Public Works Director Harvey Amerson. “This is a great opportunity for us to improve the safety of our county roads.”
The county roads receiving improvements as a part of this grant will include portions of Colerain West, Dover Bluff Road, Greenville Road, Harrietts Bluff Road, Incachee Road, New Post Road, Old Highway 259, Refuge Road, and Vacuna Road. Fieldwork is now underway and the project is expected to begin by June 2018.
