With the theme of “Disasters Don’t Plan Ahead; You Can,” the goal of National Preparedness Month is to increase the overall number of individuals, families, and communities that engage in preparedness actions at home, work, business, school, and place of worship.
We want to encourage all Camden County residents to plan and prepare for emergency situations,” said Emergency Management Specialist Chuck White. “Recent events have shown us the importance of everyone taking proactive steps to ensure the safety of you and your family.”
This year, all Camden County residents are encouraged to:
- Make a Plan for Yourself, Family, and Friends,
- Plan to Help Your Neighbor and Community,
- Practice and Build Out Your Plans,
- Get Involved! Be a Part of Something Larger.
Specific information and tips will be posted throughout the month on the Camden County EMA’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
