[ARCHIVED] Camden County Emergency Management Agency Continues to Monitor Tropical Activity

Some of the effects from the storm may be in the form of increased wave activity, strong rip currents, and minor coastal flooding to include coastal erosion at high tides over the next few days.

We are in peak hurricane season, and all Camden County residents are strongly encouraged to prepare. Visit the Camden County EMA Facebook and Twitter pages as we resume sharing National Preparedness Month information. Additional tips and resources are available from Ready.gov, www.ready.gov, and Ready Georgia, www.ready.ga.gov.

Camden County EMA is still actively monitoring tropical activity and will ensure timely communication to all Camden County residents if necessary using the CodeRED system. All Camden County residents are urged to sign-up for the CodeRED Emergency Notification System by visiting www.camdencountyga.gov/CodeRED. Participants will be notified in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts.
