There were no reports of tornadoes overnight and initial assessments indicate small limbs in roadways and incidents of trees on power lines. As of 8:30 a.m. this morning, less than 70 households were still without power in Camden County. Residents are encouraged to use caution if they find trees or limbs on roadways.
Hurricane Season continues until the end of November and Camden County EMA is still actively monitoring tropical activity for the remainder of the season. All Camden County residents are encouraged to sign-up for the CodeRED Emergency Notification System by visiting www.camdencountyga.gov/CodeRED. Participants will be notified in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts.
Camden County and the Cities of Kingsland, St. Marys, and Woodbine offices will re-open with regular hours on Friday, October 12, 2018.
