[ARCHIVED] Louis Foltzer Earns Designation as Local Government Chief Information Officer

This is a joint certificate program between the Georgia Chapter of the Government Management Information Sciences (GA-GMIS) and the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government (CVIOG).  It is co-sponsored by the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) and the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).

“I am proud that Louis has reached this professional milestone,” said County Administrator Steve Howard. “His work in leading our information technology and cybersecurity efforts benefit all Camden County residents.”

The LGCIO Certificate Program requires qualified professionals to complete online and in-person classes, independent assignments, and a capstone project. To receive the certificate Foltzer completed 240 learning credit hours through CIVOG. Foltzer will officially receive his certification at the GA-GMIS Spring Conference in late April.
