[ARCHIVED] Camden County Receives Second Coastal Incentive Grant

The $60,436 grant funding will be used to implement a Rise Ready education and outreach program, as well as create an online flood hazard decision support tool with three web applications for Camden County Residents.

“We are excited to continue working on this project,” said CRS, E & S Coordinator Scott Brazell. “The ability to provide specific information is invaluable for Camden County residents seeking to make better, educated decisions about their potential flood hazards.”

The Nature Conservancy is continuing to partner and assist with the creation of new outreach materials and further developing the web-based components. Other partners include the City of St. Marys, the Coastal Regional Commission, and the University of Georgia’s Marine Extension. The first phase of web applications should be online this Fall.
